Flagship Romance is an unforgettable alternative folk duo known for their breathtaking vocal harmonies, inspired songwriting, dynamic live show, and a remarkable on and off-stage chemistry that will leave you with the feeling that you made two new best friends. Married singers-songwriters Shawn Fisher and Jordyn Jackson effortlessly fuse technical precision in their impeccably tight vocal blend with an invigorating sense of emotional abandon in their energetic live persona. Performing each show as if it could be their last, this duo will have you questioning how their larger-than-life sound can come from just two voices and an acoustic guitar.
Traveling over 300,000 miles since their musical inception, the duo has amassed an engaged grassroots following. A testament to Fisher and Jackson’s close relationship with their supporters, Flagship Romance has released four critically acclaimed full-length albums, 100% funded by their enthusiastic fanbase. To date, their multiple crowdfunding efforts, including the duo’s most recent campaign for their forthcoming self-titled double album, have raised a combined total of over $175,000.
Currently based in Louisville, KY, Flagship Romance has begun releasing a consistent string of singles from the double album, produced by GRAMMY award winning producer Lee Miles.
The father-daughter duo Bob & Sarah Amos are truly on a roll, with a recent #1 song and album on the national Folk charts, and a supporting band that has been called a Vermont Bluegrass "super group". Vermont Public’s legendary “All The Traditions” show host, the late Robert Resnik, described Bob and Sarah’s music as “Heavenly harmonies and glorious songwriting. Every song is toe-curlingly beautiful”.
Guitarist/banjoist/vocalist Bob Amos is an internationally recognized, award winning, chart topping bluegrass/folk/americana singer-songwriter who has recorded twelve acclaimed albums and performed throughout the USA and Europe for over 30 years. Singout! magazine has called Bob “one of the most interesting and intelligent songwriters in American music”.
For the past twelve years Bob has been performing with his daughter Sarah Amos, a vocalist of remarkable power and sensitivity.Bob and Sarah's vocal blend has been called “mesmerizing” and “a must see”.
Joining Bob and Sarah are three New England pros, including guitarist Andy Greene, bassist Kirk Lord and mandolinist Bob Dick, resulting in a highly energetic, entertaining and varied program, with original and traditional songs ranging from beautiful ballads to powerful, bluesy bluegrass numbers.
The Rozatones are a six piece soulful acid rock group known for up-tempo rhythms, spicy melodies and an incomparable energy that makes for a passionate and unforgettable live show.

Singer, songwriter, guitarist, conguero… Carlos Ocasio has been performing original and classic blues, Latin soul and rock&roll from frosty Quebec to his native Puerto Rico for 50+ moving-and-shaking years. He’s led his Vermont-based Frydaddy band on stages and in the studio for four decades.
Blue Jay Way, a Vermont-based rock & roll cover band, embarks on its 50th year of rocking audiences and packing dance floors.
The band was formed in 1974 at Castleton State College and still features original members Tim Brown on guitar and Terry Jarrosak on drums, with occasional guest appearances by Dave Sabatino on bass, another founding member. Keyboardist Brad Morgan, a long-time leader of the popular Rutland horn band Satin & Steel, is in his 10th year as a BJW bandmate, and saxophonist Harry Drum has been on board for the past three years.
“When you’ve been playing together as long as we have, you are just appreciative that people continue to support live music, and keep calling you back,’’ said Brown, the athletic director at Mt. Anthony UHS for 30 years before retiring in 2018. “We have such a good time playing music together, and getting a chance to hang out and mix with the crowd,’’ added Jarrosak, the longtime morning voice of WJJR radio in Rutland.
You can count on a blend of strong vocal harmonies, tasteful solos and an upbeat tempo from this band that has been entertaining crowds for the past six decades.
The Burlington, Vermont band Marsh Lights, guided by lead singer and songwriter Colby Crehan, provides an “immersion into American roots where there is little equal to the quintet in the Northeast" (Valley Stage Productions). The group's original music, executed with phenomenal vocals and expressive musicianship, is hard to pigeon-hole but easy to embrace.
Performing together for over 15 years, and as Marsh Lights since 2023, the band has developed a special rapport and unique sound. On their new album, Cover the Water (2024), the Rutland Herald found “compelling folk and bluegrass-based material that shines on Crehan’s assured vocals and songwriting and the band’s deft and intuitive instrumental skills.”
Killer harmonies are "a Marsh Lights specialty" (Seven Days) as are fiery instrumentals and a diverse repertoire. Experience Marsh Lights' "earthy layers of depth and dynamism. Even when the band leans into more traditional terrain...there's slight deviation, like a new translation of an old book." (Seven Days).
The Wyld Nightz Band was formed over ten years ago in Brattleboro, Vermont. Founding members, Michael McKinney, guitar, trumpet and vocals, and Jeff Brewer, guitar and vocals, have worked with various members to emphasize dance music with exciting ensemble playing. Pete Nichols on drums, and Matt Martyn on bass guitar anchor the rhythm section. Keyboard duties and vocals are covered by none other than Tony Speranza of Simon's Rock. Anthony Speranza Jr. appears regularly on lead and background vocals, Alto saxophone, acoustic guitar, and penny whistle.
With over 150 years of combined performing experience, The Wyld Nightz Band has entertained at a wide variety of memorable events including weddings, parties, and the Jaffrey Fireworks performing for over 20,000 people!
Blues Without Borders features vocal powerhouse Deb Tier and the incendiary guitar playing of ScottyMac. The talented rhythm section supporting these two consists of Mike Burbank on bass, Dan "Freight Train of Rhythm" Whittemore on drums, and keyboardist Tony Bartold. Expect to hear blues, rock, classics, and songs from some of today's hottest acts.
Blues Without Borders first got together late in 2019. Scott and Dan were regulars at local blues jams. Both knew Deb. All three knew they wanted to play together. Mike was brought in after having previously played with Dan for several years.
In the true spirt of the blues, the band members have been through personal trials that might have ended many projects but instead helped build the ties of family and commitment it takes to make a great band.
In May of 2020, in the midst of the global Covid-19 pandemic, a group of Fairlee residents met "virtually" with Vermont musician Jon Gailmor and together created a song about the town of Fairlee, Vermont. The result, titled "Join Us In Fairlee", invites people to come together and enjoy the community. Listen to the song (MP3 format)
In March of 2021, Fairlee Community Arts applied for an Animating Infrastructures Grant through the Vermont Arts Council to support public art in the I-91 underpass at Exit 15.
Animating Infrastructure grants support community projects that integrate art with infrastructure. Through this program, the Council strives to demonstrate the positive impact of art in helping communities meet goals of livability, walkability, safety, economic vitality, and community vibrancy, and to support the creation of unique infrastructure projects where function and art are one and the same.
Fairlee’s proposal was one of five projects awarded grant funding. The Vermont Arts Council gave FCA $15,000 to support the design and installation of public art that will transform an interstate underpass into a welcoming setting that connects commerce and outdoor recreation assets.
FCA solicited contributions and received proposals from thirteen artists. From these thirteen the proposal from artist Matt Heywood (titled "The Green Man and the Snow Sister") was selected.
We negotiated with the Vermont Agency of Transportation over the next year or so. Installation was complicated by the ongoing work on the I-91 bridge decking.
FCA held several events designed to bring the community into the process.
Finally, in September 2024 we installed the first mural, The Snow Sister.
The main portion of the second mural (The Green Man) was installed in the autumn of 2025 after VTrans finished bridge repair on the southbound side of the Interstate. The remaining two walls are scheduled for completion in the spring of 2026.
Many thanks to the Fairlee Fire Department, Samuel Morey and Westshire students, Rivendell students, Aloha campers, Cami Buster, Elizabeth Wilson, Kristen Post, Chris Clemson, Vicki Kirchner, Peter Lange, Aletta Traendly, Palma Jorgensen, Calista Diane, Jack (who happened to be staying at Lake Morey Resort and came over to help), former town administrator Tad Nunez who saw us through every step of the of the permitting process and everyone in the town offices. Thanks also to the Vermont Council for the Arts and all the donors, including Fogg’s Hardware (Bethel Mills) for the donations of materials and the individuals who donated through our crowd funding program. And finally we have to thank VTrans, because though as an agency they can be frustrating at times we know everyone there ultimately has public safety at heart.
