One of the activities on the Town Hall list from the community was Bingo. Does anyone know someone who might be interested in organizing a regular Bingo game to benefit FCA?

We'd have to get some basic supplies. I came across this site, which sells supplies for Bingo and has a some helpful info, such as charts of several different Bingo game patterns.

There's also the issue of prizes, whether cash or otherwise.

Someone mentioned that it may be possible to call a bingo game using an online resource instead of acquiring all kinds of supplies. I wasn't sure what may be available online but agreed to look into it. After a bit of looking, it appears there's not much out there...

There is an app called "Bingo Caller Machine" that is made in the UK and available for a variety of computer/tablet types. Reviews of it are not very good.

Personally, my opinion is that Bingo would be more successful and enjoyable without technology. Relying on technology like computers and an internet connection only increases the chance of something going wrong.

My opinion is that bingo would most appropriately be run by church or rec. council, not arts council.
