Paint your own mini masterpiece with Vermont artist Arthur Zorn. No experience necessary! Never painted before? Great! Arthur will share some of his work, talk a bit about the creative process, and then guide participants as they create their own artwork using acrylic paints. All supplies will be provided. Just bring yourself, maybe a friend or two, and a willingness to try something new. Come have fun in an encouraging, no-stress environment.

Arthur Zorn, a native of the Bronx, New York City, attended the Manhattan School of Music and the High School of Music and Art. After graduating with special honors in music education from Lyndon State College (Vermont) in 1972, he began a long career as a educator, choir director, organist, soloist and composer.  His life long enjoyment of painting began in 1967. Being awarded the Fine Arts award from 8th grade at PS 82 in the South Bronx. Mr. Zorn began his professional art career with his premiere art show, Improvisations, in 2004 at the Bundy gallery in Waitsfield, Vermont. This was the first public showing of his art work. Due to the excitement and volume of sales the show was extended for several months. In January 2007 the Bundy presented another opening of completely new art work, also featuring a piano recital by Mr Zorn. In the June and July of 2008 Zorn and again in October, 2011 Mr. Zorn was the featured artist for the “Governor’s Art Exhibit” in Montpelier. He has 45 paintings on loan to the State of Vermont in the Pavilion State Office and Supreme Court buildings in Montpelier. Mr. Zorn’s art work has been on view in many local venues and art walks in Burlington and Montpelier. His art work is in private collections in Vermont, Connecticut, New York City, Florida, Texas  and in California. Mr. Zorn currently resides in Barre, Vermont.
