Classicopia: “Broadway Violin”
Join violinist Timothy Schwarz and pianist/Artistic Director Daniel Weiser in this exciting trip down memory lane with some fabulous arrangements of your favorite Broadway songs from the 1920s to the 1980s, including works by Gershwin, Arlen, Rodgers, Bernstein, Sondheim, Webber, and many more. Tap along with great songs such as “I Got Rhythm,” “Some Enchanted Evening,” “West Side Story,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Send in the Clowns,” and “Memory,” Classicopia is excited to finally return to live concerts in the Upper Valley and is thrilled to continue its partnership with Fairlee Community Arts to help spread great intimate chamber music to communities in the area. This special “Bev Hodge Memorial” Concert will honor this amazing woman who helped run Farmer Hodge’s Dairy in Fairlee for so many years. This program is co-sponsored by Fairlee Community Arts along with a generous gift from Bruce and Anne Taylor.
